Air boats

We went for a motorcycle ride this past Sunday and ended up at Heron Bay in Lewiston. It is a little dive bar but they have good food and it is just a good place to go and relax. They are right on the Platte river. There is a two level patio where you can sit outside right next to the water. Some of the people that live on or vacation on the river have air boats. When the water is down low enough it creates a sandy beach just a few steps away from the patio. They just ride up in their boats and park on the beach.

If you ever want a place to go on a Sunday afternoon check this place out. During the summer on Sunday's they have a 3 pc. band that plays bluesy type music. Get there early, they get busy fast. Place your food order early.
