Wild things

On our way home from Louisville this past Sunday we saw some wild turkeys on the side of the road and then came across a Great Blue Heron in a farm pond. Of course I made Larry turn around so I could try and get some pictures. The turkeys were pretty easy. The Heron on the other hand was another story. As soon as I started down the ditch to get closer, it took off. The pictures are horrible of the Heron but I wanted to post them anyway just to prove that I acutally did see one. I've been keeping my eyes peeled all summer for them, this is the first one I've seen in person.
