Getting a little beauty rest before the photo op.
A barn owl and screetch owl from the Raptor Recovery visited the Wild Bird Habitat store. I figured it was the only way I was ever going to get a photo of an owl, so I went. What awesome creatures...I do hope to photograph one in the wild in my lifetime. Did you know they make nesting boxes for some owls. May have to get one. :-) I don't know if there are enough mice to keep them happily fed in my neighborhood. Although, I hear they like snakes, those I've have. yuk!
