Shooting the moon!

This is the first of two full moons we will have in the month of December. The Full Cold Moon; or the Full Long Nights Moon.
Two full moons in the same month occurs every 2 1/2 to 3 years, according to the Farmers Almanac. (see link below) The second is refered to as the "Blue Moon"
